Any quotations of delivery times by the seller are made in good faith but are estimates and the seller shall not be bound by such quotation.
For orders within New Zealand we will normally use New Zealand Courier signature delivery. You will be issued with a tracking number by email upon despatch.
For international orders (outside New Zealand) our preferred delivery method is New Zealand Post. We always insist upon signed for delivery methods. Claims for loss or damage should be made immediately on the carrier delivering the goods.
Adaptrix strives to be open and honest, so we will never inflate our prices to set up an artificial 'sale' (a common - and illegal - retail practice).
It is inevitable in an open market like the Internet that there will be some individuals selling some items cheaper than we do, and some selling them for more than we do, just as in the high street. We take great pride in offering a fast, efficient, friendly and secure shopping experience, with great products at fair prices. We encourage our customers to shop around, but are very pleased to welcome them back again and again.
GST - Please note that as we are based in the NEW ZEALAND, our site shows all prices exclusive of GST. Registered website customers from countries where GST is not applicable will not be charged GST at the time of their order unless the order is being sent to NEW ZEALAND.

What information we hold about you
If you have bought something from us we will have your email address, phone number, address and credit card details. Credit card detials are deleted from our system after the completition of sale. All other details are held for sale verification and warrenty purposes. If you choose to deliver items to a third-party (such as a friend) we will have their name and address. Information is only used to help us deliver the parcels and contact you. .
We also maintain an order history of your purchases. This allows you and us to track your deliveries and review your past purchases. We collect information of a general nature about how many 'hits' our website gets. And we monitor the site traffic patterns; this tells us which areas of the site are being visited more than others. It also helps us build a more useful site in subsequent re-designs. We don't track individual users pathways through the site. Our site also uses 'cookies'.
What we do with your information
We NEVER exchange, sell or otherwise give away your email address or details to other companies.
Who else sees your information
We may have to disclose some of your information to service suppliers to help complete your order. These parties include New Zealand Couriers, New Zealand Post, Paypal, MoneyBrookers and ANZ. Our returns policy is simple! Our "no quibbles" guarantee means that if the item you have ordered is faulty, defective or not as described then you must return it to us unused and in its original condition within 30 days for a prompt replacement, exchange or refund.

. We will require the serial number of the adaptrix you are returning. This will enable us to process your return quickly and efficiently. To give you a few pointers on how we manage our returns, here are some simple and easy to follow guidelines:
Faulty or defective items: If you return an item because of an error on our part, or it is defective, we will happily refund your costs in returning it to us. You are responsible for any other service provided to you in connection with your purchase, e.g. gift wrapping. The item(s) must be returned within 30 days of purchase. However, if after inspection of the item it is found not to be defective then you will be responsible for delivery charges, currency conversion fees and up to a 20% restocking fee.
Not as Described: Goods returned to us because they are not as described must be unused and in perfect, re-saleable condition (including product packaging, instructions, etc), otherwise we will not be able to refund you. Please also include a letter explaining how the goods are not as described. You are responsible for any other service provided to you in connection with your purchase, e.g. gift wrapping, currency conversion fees and delivery charge. The item(s) must be returned within 30 days of purchase. When first trying out Adaptrix products, please do so somewhere clean and safe - we can't replace muddy, scratched, torn, oil covered or grass-stained items.
Returns lost in transit: We cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit: as you are responsible for returning the item(s) to us, we recommend sending the package by Recorded/Special Delivery.
Refunds, replacement and exchanges:
Refunds: For items that are defective or faulty and sent back to Automation Solutions Ltd within 30 days or the result of a change of heart and sent back to Automation Solutions Ltd within 30 days, a refund, replacement or exchange will be processed within 7 working days of receipt of the returned item(s) by Automation Solutions Ltd. A refund will be made in the same form of payment that was used to make the initial purchase. Please note that item(s) returned to us that are not due to our error will have the shipping costs, currency conversion fees and up to 20% restocking fee deducted from the refund.
Please note, in all instances Automation Solutions Ltd shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages or expenses, including but not limited to lost profits or other economic or commercial losses. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.

Adaptrix takes its relationships with customers very seriously, and we expend a great deal of effort ensuring that we keep you happy. We aim to reply to emails within two working days of receipt, whether they're enquiries or, heaven forbid, complaints. The product is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 12 months from the date of sale. This warranty covers defective parts and workmanship provided that the product is shipped pre-paid to the seller within 12 months of purchase of goods and accurate written descriptions of how the seller's products were installed. This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement (at the sellers discretion) of parts and shipping prepaid to the original dispatch destination. No liability can be accepted for consequential or special damages of any kind howsoever arising in connection with products supplied by the Seller. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied. No representative is authorised to assume for the Seller any other liability in connection with the Sellers products.

You place the order for your products on the website by filling out our online form, emailing us, faxing us, writing to us or telephoning us.
We will send to you an Order Acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. This is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from Adaptrix.
As your product is shipped from our warehouse we will send you a Despatch Confirmation email.
Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the despatch to you of the products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it.
Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following reasons:
The product(s) you ordered being unavailable from stock
